17th and 18th centuries paintings: in the sales catalogue for the sale of Hoentschel’s estate at the Galerie Georges Petit in 1919 could be found the following artist’s names whose work was part of his collection: Casanova – two pendants, Jean-Baptiste Chardin – still life, Jean-Baptiste Perronneau – portrait of a child, Hyacinthe Rigaud – portrait of Louis-Alexandre de Bourbon, as well as works by Roland de La Porte, François  Le Moine, Jean-Baptiste Oudry, Sir Henry Raeburn, Hubert Robert, Giambattista Tiepolo, Charles-Antoine Coypel, and others.
